Benefits to Drone Photography for Inspections

Solar Panel Inspections

Aerial footage provides several benefits when it comes to inspecting solar panels, lets hear about some of these benefits.

1) Increased Safety: Inspecting solar panels from the ground can be dangerous, especially if the panels are located on a rooftop or other high-elevation location. With drones, inspectors can safely inspect the panels without having to physically climb on the roof.

2) Improved Efficiency: Drones can quickly cover large areas and collect detailed images in a fraction of the time it would take to inspect the panels by hand. This can significantly reduce the amount of time and labor required to complete an inspection, leading to cost savings.

3) Enhanced Image Quality: Drones are equipped with high-resolution cameras that can capture detailed images of the solar panels. This allows inspectors to easily identify any issues or problems that may be present on the panels, such as cracks, debris, or shading issues.

4) Improved Data Collection: The images and data collected by drones can be stored and analyzed to improve the overall efficiency and performance of the solar panels. This can help to identify patterns or trends that can be used to optimize the performance of the panels over time.

Land Inspections

Drone photography offers several benefits for land inspections compared to traditional inspection methods. Some of the benefits include:

  1. Cost savings: Drones can be used to inspect large areas of land in a short period of time, reducing the need for manual inspection and reducing the cost associated with it.
  2. Speed: Drone inspections can be completed much faster than traditional methods, allowing for quicker decision-making and reduced downtime.
  3. Safety: Drones can be used to inspect hazardous areas, such as high buildings, without putting humans at risk.
  4. Enhanced inspection quality: Drone photography provides high-resolution images and video that can be used to assess the condition of the land, structures, and infrastructure with greater accuracy and detail than traditional inspection methods.
  5. Increased accessibility: Drones can reach areas that are difficult or impossible to access using traditional methods, providing a more comprehensive inspection of the land.
  6. Improved data collection: Drone photography can provide real-time data collection, which can be used to make informed decisions about the land and its management.

Overall, drone photography is a valuable tool for land inspections, offering a range of benefits that can improve the accuracy, speed, and safety of the inspection process.

Building Inspections

Drone photography has several benefits when it comes to building inspections:

  1. Enhanced Safety: Inspecting tall buildings, roofs, and towers can be dangerous for humans, especially if the structure is not in good condition. Drones can be used to inspect these structures from a safe distance, reducing the risk of injury or death.
  2. Time-Saving: Drones can cover a large area in a fraction of the time it would take for a human inspector to do the same job. This saves time and increases efficiency.
  3. Detailed View: Drones equipped with high-resolution cameras can capture detailed images and videos of building structures, providing a comprehensive view of the building that may not be possible to see from the ground.
  4. Cost-Effective: Hiring a drone operator is often more cost-effective than hiring a team of workers to inspect a building manually. This saves time and money and provides a more comprehensive inspection.
  5. Easy Access: Drones can access difficult-to-reach areas such as roofs, chimneys, and towers, providing a better view of these areas than could be obtained with a manual inspection.
  6. Real-Time Data Collection: Drone technology allows for real-time data collection and analysis, enabling inspectors to make decisions quickly and accurately.

Overall, drone photography has the potential to revolutionize building inspections, providing a safer, more efficient, and more cost-effective way to inspect buildings and other structures.

How we Deliver the Best Bang for the Buck

Cost is one of those funny things in business.  For many of us we are blessed to live where water, food, and shelter are costs we can afford.  Here is how we deliver the BEST value to you for the Buck.

  1. We deliver the goods by focusing on what gives you a business outcome you desire instead of just picures and videos.  For example our drone packages all include video edits to the ever popular TikTok, Instagram Reel, and YouTube shorts to get you maximum exposure with near zero effort.
  2. Cost is what you loose by not being the best you can be.  To quote Neilson Research, “80% of users spend their time above the fold”.  We do everything we can to make sure your images are “Sick Pics!” so that you get the most clicks.
  3. Cost is also about money and how much you spend.  That is why we put together pricing packages as cheap as $125 – $250 to help YOU and YOUR FRIENDS get the benefits of Drone Photograpy without the $$$ of only doing custom jobs.

Is drone photography even legal?

What about privacy?

I want to be able to have final say about what gets recorded?

How We Keep You Safe

  1. We Communicate with Guests: We can let guests know in advance that a drone photography company will be taking pictures and videos of the property. This can help to alleviate any concerns they may have about their privacy.  Or we can film on a off day.  Even better!
  2. We Can Provide an option to opt out: Let us know and we can give guests the option to opt out of having their property photographed and filmed by a drone. If a guest prefers not to have a drone fly over their property, we respect their wishes and find alternative ways to showcase the property.
  3. I have privacy concerns: Send them our way.  We follow all the laws and FAA flight laws, and are more then happy to work with you to blue or edit out anything you would like not in your video.
  4. We are professional drone pilots: We are FAA Part 107 Drone Pilots and are glad to walk you though what this means.  Just chat with us on the site here for info.
  5. Use of the right equipment: We use drones equipped with advanced cameras and sensors that can be set to only take pictures of the property and not of the guests.  And we can do post production to remove anything that needs to be eliminated.
